Licensing, Made Simple.


Every Serotonin Studio mockup includes a license based on how the asset is used and, for commercial use, the size of the organization benefiting from that use. All licenses are perpetual and non-exclusive. The guide below explains what is covered under each license.

    Portfolio


    For presenting, showcasing, and pitching creative work.

    Use mockups to bring your work to life across portfolios, case studies, presentations, personal websites, and organic social media.

    Includes:

    • Personal and self-initiated projects
    • Portfolio and case study presentations
    • Client pitches and presentations
    • Personal websites
    • Organic social media
    • Student and academic work

    Paid Commercial Use: No
    Company Size: Any size
    Project Scope: Unlimited
    Duration: Unlimited

  •

    Commercial


    For commercial projects, advertising, and promotional use.

    Use mockups in client work and commercial projects across digital, print, social media, e-commerce, advertising, and marketing.

    Includes:

    • Everything permitted under Portfolio
    • Client commercial work
    • Business and brand projects
    • Paid advertising
    • Marketing campaigns
    • Commercial websites and e-commerce
    • Commercial social media
    • Print and digital applications

    Commercial Use: Yes
    Company Size: 1–20 employees
    Project Scope: 1 project or campaign
    Duration: Unlimited

  •

    Commercial Plus


    For the same commercial use, extended to larger organizations.

    Commercial Plus includes the same usage rights as the Commercial License for companies and organizations with 21–50 employees.

    Includes:

    • Everything permitted under the Commercial License

    Commercial Use: Yes
    Company Size: 21–50 employees
    Project Scope: 1 project or campaign
    Duration: Unlimited

More Than 50 Employees?

Commercial use by a company or organization with more than 50 employees requires an Enterprise License.

Enterprise licensing is also available for projects with requirements that fall outside the scope of our standard licenses.

A Few Things No License Allows


No matter which license applies, you may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the original mockup files
  • Share or deliver PSDs, Smart Objects, or other editable Serotonin Studio files to clients or third parties
  • Upload the original files to stock, template, asset, or file-sharing platforms
  • Include editable Serotonin Studio files in products, templates, or downloads distributed to others
  • Use Serotonin Studio assets for AI model training, fine-tuning, datasets, or machine-learning purposes
  • Use the files to create a competing mockup, template, or digital asset product
  • Claim the mockup, original photography, or underlying assets as your own

Commercial licenses allow finished, non-editable work created with our mockups to be delivered to clients. They do not transfer ownership of or access to the underlying Serotonin Studio files.
