General
-
Serotonin Studio mockups are high-resolution, layered PSD files designed for use in Adobe Photoshop. Each mockup is built from original photography and includes an editable Smart Object that makes it easy to add your own artwork while preserving the lighting, texture, and details of the original scene.
-
Our mockups are designed for Adobe Photoshop. We recommend using the latest version for full compatibility and optimal performance. Other software may be able to open PSD files, but we can’t guarantee that all features will work as intended.
-
Open the PSD in Photoshop, double-click the Smart Object labeled “Smart Object (Add Artwork Here)”, place your artwork, save, and return to the main file. Your design will automatically appear in the scene. Each purchase also includes a PDF User Guide with additional instructions and tips.
-
Yes. We offer a small selection of free mockups so you can try the files for yourself before purchasing. You can find them on our Free Mockups page.
-
Yep. That’s what the free ones are for. Our free mockups use the same general file structure and production standards as our paid products, so they’re the best way to see if Serotonin Studio mockups are right for you.
-
No. The black border is used only to frame the product imagery on our website and is not included in the PSD file or original photograph. Your mockup will extend to the full dimensions listed in the Technical Details on each product page.
-
Free mockups include a Portfolio License unless otherwise stated. If you want to use a free mockup commercially, you’ll need the appropriate commercial license. See our License page for details.
-
Sometimes. We take on select custom mockup projects when the scope, timing, and budget are a good fit. If you have something in mind, get in touch with a little about what you need, your timeline, and your budget.
-
