Serotonin Studio is an independent design studio building a curated library of presentation tools from original photography.

Every collection begins with a place worth documenting. We travel, photograph, and transform real environments into presentation tools that help creative work feel more believable, intentional, and memorable.

NEW MOCKUPS EVERY MONTH  •  REAL PLACES  •  CURATED COLLECTIONS  •  NO AI-GENERATED SCENES

How we got here.

Before this was a brand, I was just a designer buying mockups like everyone else. And almost every time, something was off.

The same billboard showing up in a dozen agency case studies. A “300+ mockup” bundle that turned out to be a 50GB zip with maybe three files worth using. Or a “NYC poster mockup” that, once you looked closer, wasn’t really New York at all. Garbled signs. Storefronts that didn’t make sense. Details that gave away the fact that the whole scene was generated, not photographed.

They looked real until you actually paid attention. I’d spend hours getting a case study dialed in, drop 18 bucks on a “premium mockup” to bring it to life, and somehow the mockup would make the work look cheaper and less believable.

So I started making my own.

Every mockup brand says "premium".
Here's the proof.

By a designer, for designers.

No generated locations. No imaginary cities. Every scene in this catalog started with a real place I came across and thought would be the perfect setting to showcase a design project. So I photographed it.

Every release is intentionally small. Instead of chasing thousands of products, I focus on a handful of new mockups at a time. Every photo is shot, edited, and color graded by me so the catalog feels considered, not like a giant pile of stock.

Serotonin Studio is run by Keith Paul Acton, a designer and creative director who left agency life to build better presentation tools for other designers who truly care about craft. No investors. No content farm. No team of twelve.

I built Serotonin Studio because I’ve seen great work get let down by the way it’s presented. You can spend weeks getting a project right, then lose someone in ten seconds with a mediocre case study. The right presentation closes the gap between what you saw in your head and what everyone else sees on the screen. It can turn a good project into something memorable and help great work get you the gig.

If you care about that stuff too, you’re in the right place. Stick around. We’re just getting started.

A few designers got early access.
Here’s what they thought.

“

The mockups actually feel original and don’t look recycled from the same generic pool you see everywhere else. The image quality and resolution are some of the best I’ve come across.

The mockups feel incredibly well-crafted and professional. The included PDF guide is clear, straightforward, and does a great job explaining how everything works without making the process feel complicated.

- Omar A., Graphic Designer
“

The mockups are amazing. They’re high quality without feeling sterile, and I would’ve spent hours trying to make my presentations this consistent.

- Alex W., Brand Designer
